They made fun of me a lot but I did not stray from Your ways

Although mockery comes from people who do not know the faithful word of God, we must remain confident in the Lord, that mockery does not stop us from the purpose that God has for our lives.

“They made fun of me a lot, but I did not turn from Your ways.” These are the words of a true man of God who knows who he was chosen by, who was anointed king even when he was herding sheep in a field. This is a persevering man in the way of the Lord.

Even if the proud mock you, or the world is against the good path you are taking, do what this man did, do not stray from the path of the Lord and keep going:

The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.

Psalm 119:51

These are the words of a man who, whatever happens, remains standing, do not worry because the world makes fun of you, keep obeying the Word of God, since those who make fun of you will have a sad reward on the day of the final judgment if they do not repent and come to the ways of God.

Do not let the words of the Lord depart from you, nor let your heart stop loving His Word, nor stop fixing your eyes on the God of heaven, for your salvation comes from Him. Do not let mockery affect you, rather put your ways every day more in the hands of the Lord and He will help you to continue. God bless you.

...
The Lord will destroy the house of the proud
When you die you will carry nothing away
