Don’t meddle with the loose tongue

It is good to be away from gossipy people, from those who do not have control of their tongue, because they are a big problem, the Bible warns us in different passages about the danger of the tongue and gossip.

Getting together with this type of people is not beneficial, since their actions cause problems and drag many people into their gossip. These have no brake at all on the tongue.

The gossiper loves to reveal intimate things about others, regardless of (or ignoring) the consequences that this may entail.

The following verse teaches us about these gossipy people and the goal they want to achieve:

He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.

Proverbs 20:19

These types of people have their sad reward, since the Bible speaks against gossip and on that final judgment day we can only ask that God have mercy on them. How many homes have been destroyed because of gossip? This is something very serious.

Today we live surrounded by many people who are dedicated to gossip, love to destroy through their language, looking for information to be able to divert it from their point of view and cause lawsuits among others.

Let’s stay away from this kind of people because God doesn’t like them, they cause division and only love to destroy and cause a total collapse among good people. God save us from this evil.
