7 blessings of obedience

When we walk under the obedience of the Lord, we can receive blessings because God sees your faithfulness and your sacrifice, but something that we must be very clear about is that these blessings come not because we are worthy of them, rather because God is good and merciful.

That is why below we bring you Seven blessings that are the result of obedience.

Seven blessings from God for those who obey him

And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.

Deuteronomy 28:2

Obedience is something that we must have before our God, obeying His Word, listening to His voice, because when we do what He commands us and walk under His law, then we are being obedient.

1. Blessed are you in the city

Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

Deuteronomy 28:3

Despite the people being so impatient with God, Moses tells them of the Lord’s promises to them, telling them that they will be blessed in the city and in the field. This would be fulfilled if they were obedient before God.

2. Blessed is the fruit of your womb

Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

Deuteronomy 28:4

If the people do what God commands them, then the wombs of their women will be blessed and they will be able to conceive children, everything they produce, the fruit of the land, the beasts, the herds, everything will be multiplied. These are the faithful blessings of the Lord.

We can see that when the people left Egypt, Moses giving him the word of the Lord, these promises that they would be taken care of in the middle of the desert, because the Lord fulfilled it and we could even see that not even food was lacking, they were covered by a pillar of fire in the night to enlighten them, and a cloud by day to guide them on the way, in addition, the promise that their tools to produce bread would be blessed.

4. Blessed will you be when you come in, and blessed when you go out

Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

Deuteronomy 28:6

The people of Israel used to be very afraid to continue on their way, but sometimes they had certain difficulties because they did not hear the voice of the Lord, so they had to hear the voice of God through that leader named Moses, saying that God would take care of them and would bless them in their coming and going.

5. The Lord will defeat your enemies who rise up against you

The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

Deuteronomy 28:7

The trust that this leader had was very strong, in addition to the obedience that accompanied him, since this man did everything that God commanded him, but on the other hand he had a people who distrusted the words of the Almighty God, despite that God knew well with the people he was dealing with, that is why he tells them that He would defeat all the enemies that rose up against them.

Your barns will be greatly blessed, and above all that where you put your hands. It was remarkable that the voice of God followed with his people, wherever they moved, it was under the divine cover of God, He was his shield and iron wall.
