The power of God is unique, that there is no other like Him. It is very important to recognize the power that belongs to our mighty God, and that is why below we show you seven verses from the Bible that tell us about the power of God.

Seven Bible Verses About God Almighty

1. The power is from God

In the first book of Chronicles we can find David giving thanks to God for Solomon, his successor, and who also at the same time began to exalt the power and majesty of God, letting us understand that power and Glory only belongs to God.

Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.

1 Chronicles 29:11

2. The mighty arm of God

The prophet Jeremiah gave some words sent by God, because Zedekiah did not believe what the Lord had said. That is why we see the failure of Zedekiah. The prophet did as the Lord said, that is why we see the prophet Jeremiah recognizing the power of God:

Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

Jeremiah 32:17

3. In the hands of God are strength and power

In the next verse we will once again see David thanking God for Solomon, who was about to be the new king, and David goes on to acknowledge the greatness and power of God, saying that riches and glory come from God and that It is God who dominates the world:

Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

1 Chronicles 29:12

4. The power of God is eternal

The apostle Paul declared that even from the foundation of the world, the power of God is manifested in this world. God is God, and everything exists because of Him, His power is real, and we can understand this from everything that exists that we see around us:

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Romans 1:20

5. The power of the Lord is our strength

Brothers, this is the powerful armor of our God that the apostle Paul tells us about, under the power and authority of God is that we can continue, His is the power, the glory and the praise. Be strong in the Lord, all of you, obey the Lord of hosts in everything.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Ephesians 6:10

6. He who is with us is the most powerful

Why fear what the man of evil can do or say? God is with us, no one can defeat us, if we belong to God, we should fear nothing. The power of God has always reigned over everything, so let’s not worry about those who want to instill fear, our God is with us and is more powerful than all:

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1 John 4:4

7. There is nothing impossible for God

Next we will see a verse that demonstrates the great power and majesty of our God. Let us remember that there was a woman named Mary who was a virgin, but that she was chosen by God to conceive a child who would be the Lord, to which she said to herself with amazement, How will this be? And the angel replied: “The shadow of the Most High God will visit you.” Thus it was and our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ was born. Will there be something impossible for God?

For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Luke 1:37

We must always recognize that in the Lord is the power, obey and believe that He is God, in whom is the power and all authority. For Him there is nothing impossible, everything impossible God makes possible. We hope that these verses and these teachings have been a great blessing. God bless you greatly.
