Therefore, I will sing to you, my glory, and I will not be silent

Singing songs to the Lord is the best thing a human being can do, give thanks to God for His great love because He is our God and savior: To You I will sing Lord, and I will not be silent.

Sing to the Lord because He is the God of hosts, a God so great and merciful. Let us shout for joy before the great throne and power of Him. With great joy we long to be always in His presence worshiping and glorifying the God of our salvation.

It is very important to be able to give thanks as the psalmist shows us in this psalm 30:12. The psalmist says the following through his song:

To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

Psalm 30:12 (KJV)

This is a song and at the same time it is a thanksgiving because He had freed the psalmist David from death, this man praises the name of God for His prowess, for His great deeds before his eyes.

God had freed this faithful man from the claws of the lion and the bear, before Goliath, that giant who had threatened the army of the people of Israel. God was David’s shield throughout his time.

Like this man we have been delivered countless times from the clutches of the enemy, we have been victorious by the great power of God, let us not remain silent in the face of these feats. Let’s sing new songs before the Lord, He is our Lord and he will keep us above everything that wants to oppose.
