The processes and afflictions are part of what we must often go through in this world of affliction, because, if in this world everything was easy, why wait for a heavenly inheritance? But, in the midst of these afflictions we have a God who gives us a peace that passes all understanding.
Dear reader, no matter what difficulty we find ourselves in, we can say at the top of our lungs that the Lord God is our help, our succor in tribulation, our refuge in the storm, and our hope when our strength is gone. David well acknowledged this when he said:
But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
Psalm 40:17 (KJV)
