Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation- the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak

We live in a world polluted by sin, and because of that, we as Christians must take care of ourselves, proclaiming the Lord in our lives every day, renouncing our humanity and praying without ceasing.

We will encounter different temptations from the enemy so that we deny the Lord with our actions, that is why if we do not pray as our Lord tells us, then the temptations will defeat us day after day.

Our God is always willing to help us, let us remember that we will always have an enemy that never sleeps and that will always look for a way to spoil our steps before the Lord.

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Matthew 26:41 (KJV)

Here we see Jesus gathering his disciples in Gethsemane, here the Lord told his disciples that they had to watch and pray because every day around them was getting more difficult.

The teacher did these things because he knew that very difficult days would come for his disciples, which they would have to face, and to continue without giving up and be able to withstand the tests. These should pray without stopping.

Brothers, let’s take this message for ourselves, these times are very difficult and we need the help of our God to continue forward. Let us pray without ceasing and seek more from the Lord so that we can resist all temptations until the day we are reunited with our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

Be of good comfort, rise; Jesus calleth thee
Follow peace with all men
