How to be a vessel unto honour

Let us always be willing to do a good work in the Lord, being His vessels. A vessel unto honour is everyone who walks under the divine will of the Lord, carrying out all good works before the Father.

We must try to keep our hearts clean and humble, do good deeds, leave all the things that want to prevent us from being a vessel unto honour in the way of the Lord, be willing to pay the price to be able to become a vessel unto honour.

Not all of us dedicate ourselves to making a vessel unto honour in the way of the Lord, since many commit infractions, their acts are of bad, dirty thoughts and misconduct. But everyone who considers himself a son of God and walks under His will is a true vessel with which the Lord is pleased.

If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

2 Timothy 2:21

In this letter to Timothy we can see what Paul tells him about being a good vessel unto honour, speaking that one must turn away from iniquity (verse 19) in order to then be able to be a vessel unto honour in God’s work.

So, brothers, let us separate ourselves from everything that does not please God so that we can continue to be vessels unto honour for the glory of God.
