Man and woman are one flesh, that is why this love must be mutual, they must respect each other, love each other, help each other in all that is possible and necessary and fulfill the conjugal duty.
The same Bible talks about the respect that a man should have for his wife, the one whom he has given to be by his side, both in good times and in bad times.
That’s why man, ask God every day for your wife, that God help her and bless her always in her entrance and exit, treat her with love and respect since she is a sensitive being as the Bible says, she is a fragile glass. The apostle Paul says the following about the conjugal duty of husband and wife:
3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
1 Corinthians 7:3-4 (KJV)
In this letter we can understand that being a Christian marriage, both the man and the woman must attend to each other, since the first verse that we saw previously says: “Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband”. If you don’t know what “conjugal duty” means, verse 4 will shed light on you: “The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband” and the same is said vice versa: “and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife”.
Here the Bible commands men and women not to deny you that delicacy that God created for your enjoyment in marriage (you know what I’m talking about). Denying this blessing is a widely used practice even within many Christian marriages and this should not be the case, since we have just read that this must be complied with and that the man does not have power over his body but the woman, and the woman does not have power over her body but the man.
So, woman of God, do not deny that great blessing, let that man be blessed so that everything goes well, and you man, make the effort to bless that precious woman that God gave you, to fulfill His Word and so that that marriage continues to be strengthened in the Lord.
