The Bible teaches us about the wisdom that is in it, it gives us light so that we can continue to act before the Lord, walking under His statutes, taking the good advice that is before our eyes every day.
The works of the wicked make their days short, they make them ashamed, their evil deeds fall like a dry leaf falls from a tree, but the work of the just man who does good, who walks according to the will of God, it blooms and its leaves remain green, and its days are long under the care and mercy of God.
There will always be a difference from the man who does evil and who does not fear the almighty God, the man whose fear of God is strong, is blessed, is wise and takes the Lord’s advice, practices it and keeps it in his heart.
12 Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:
13 But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.
Ecclesiastes 8:12-13 (KJV)
We can certainly see what the wise Solomon could see in his reign, this man could see how the days of wicked men were ending, but he could also see that their works were also forgotten. We can tell the difference. Where?
The wise and God-fearing man is blessed by his good works, that is why God’s protection and love are above all of them, and his works are recognized from time to time.
