If God abides in us, we must be calm and trusting in Him, thank Him, praise His name, and give songs of thanks to our powerful and strong God who helps us every day.
It is a privilege that our God abides in our hearts, because if we have God in our hearts, things are different and that is why we must praise God, recognize that He is good and that His power and mercy accompany us at every moment.
When we do His divine will, with this we say that God is in us, and in this way we can continue forward in the name of Jesus, praising and glorifying His name that is above all names. Let’s see what the Bible tells us about the permanence of God in each of His children:
22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
1 John 3:22-24 (KJV)
In the previous verses we are told about the permanence of God in each of our hearts, if our God is in us, we will avoid falling into the tricks of the evil one and every day we keep His words and it is because Christ is in us.
So let’s be upright and firm, as His word abides in us. Let us be grateful before Him, that with all our hearts we can praise His name forever.
