It is clear that each day we must walk under the cover of our Lord, asking each day for new strength to continue the path of our Lord Jesus.
We will always have struggles, we will always be harassed by the devil with his intentions that we always fail God and he will find a way so that we be always at the mercy of sin. So, since we were freed from sin, let us be holy every day.
Let us beware of all contamination, since the same Bible says that the wages of sin is death, so after we are free, we cannot return to the same path that we lived previously because we are already light and we must continue in that light.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:21-23 (KJV)
When a person is born in Christ, the things that they did in the world of sin already embarrass them, because he is a person who has been free from sin and now serves God, since he shows fruit of sanctification for eternal life, and that life eternal, it is the reward of a holy life.
But what is the reward of sin? Verse 23 of Romans 6 says it is death. So, let us go ahead, resist, overcoming all obstacles and all trials, carry a holy life as God demands and we will have that great reward of eternal life.
