In life different difficulties come to us, these sometimes blur us from the divine will of God, they make us stop trusting in the Lord.
Let us affirm our steps before the Lord every day, believing in Him with all our hearts, asking that His will be our priority in our lives, and that above all we follow His steps because our sustenance comes from the Lord our God.
Although we are in bad times, that scarcity that comes into our lives, seeing that we can no longer, that our strength is exhausted, where our children are hungry, homeless, we do not faint because God is with us and He will not let us die in that process. In the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Philippians we find a great teaching:
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Philippians 4:11 (KJV)
Paul had gone through different economic situations, both of abundance and scarcity, and in all of them he knew how to be happy. Does your happiness depend on having material things? Paul even in the same prison sang hymns to the Lord (Acts 16:25). Can’t you do the same in times of scarcity in your home?
That’s why brothers, let’s be wise, let’s be joyful all the time, no matter that we are going through our worst moment, let’s rejoice and rejoice in the presence of our God who is in heaven, because He will arrive at the precise moment to meet our needs.
