Put your hope in the hands of God

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God- for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God

How good it is when we put our hopes in the hands of our God, when we fully trust Him with all our hearts, we do this because the Lord will help us and keep us strong all the time.

Every day you must put your trust in the Lord, because when you put your trust in the Lord, your life changes, because God is your hope and if we put our hope in Him, everything will work for good in our lives.

Even if we are in an afflicted spirit, even if everything around us is collapsed, we must praise the Lord, give Him glory and honor, because He does not abandon us.

Psalm 42 clearly teaches us that our hope must be in God:

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

Psalm 42:11 (KJV)

In moments of weakness, when our spirit is afflicted by situations that arise, when everything seems lost, let’s not put our hope in men who can fail, let’s put our hope in God who never fails, as the previous verse reads: “hope thou in God”.

Another component that we must take into account in those difficult moments is praise in God, as Psalm 42:11 says “for I shall yet praise him”. Let us always keep a praise on our lips and in our hearts because our God will sustain us and help us carry on.
