We are in difficult times, very strong moments. We are living something that none of us had seen in our short existence. But is that reason to think that God no longer loves us? Dear reader, in times like these, I want to remind you that the love of God for His creation has not diminished, but that He continues to love us with the same love.
The Bible says that God had an immense love for humanity, and John calls this love “God so loved us”, implying that this love went beyond what he could think or assimilate, that love of God went beyond the understanding of John, and when I think of the sacrifice of Christ on the cross I think the same, and it is that it does not fit in my thoughts like me being so bad, even so God loved me in such a way that He gave His Son to death on the cross for me.
The Bible tells us that God’s love for us comes first than ours for Him. That is, we, in our humanity, had never loved God except because He first loved us:
