Decree 740-20, issued on the morning of December 30, 2020 by President Luis Abinader, eliminates, as of Thursday, December 31, the two hours of grace to move freely from 7 at night to 9 at night, for which the curfew begins at 7:00 pm.
Starting on January 1 through January 10, the curfew will begin at 5 in the afternoon and end at 5 in the morning, and will have two hours of free transit. On Saturday 2, Saturday 9, Sunday 3 and Sunday 10 January, the curfew will be from 12 noon to 5 in the morning. As we can see, the hours in which residents in the Dominican Republic can transit are considerably reduced.
