Although we want, we will never stop the divine will of God, because everything, as it is written in the Holy Scriptures, thus everything must be fulfilled, for that reason we should only thank God for everything and before that ask Him to give us strength every day and to have mercy of all of us.
Remember, we cannot tell Him to stop His will, The Lord knows all things, He knows how He acts on each stage. God is God, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
A man can never oppose the purpose and will of God, never, we must keep in mind that we are not talking to anyone, we are talking to the Creator of all things. He is the King of kings and Lord of Lords, and we must be obedient and faithful before God Most High and Sublime.
An example of this was when Jesus Himself saw that the difficult moment of His crucifixion was near, but we must know that Jesus was human at that time, so He could feel pain.
Let’s see what Jesus said in His prayer when He was near the day of His crucifixion:
And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Matthew 26:39 (KJV)
If this was the same Jesus who said “but not as I want, but as you”, then we must also say the same, ask God to do His will in everything and ask Him to give us strength for any eventuality that may occur, that He covers us and that we be kept above all else. Let us thank God that His mercy sustains us every day.
Pray to God and continue to believe that God will do His will which is good and perfect. Let us remember that in His ways we are safe.
