The elections in the United States of America are approaching and the religious group Jehovah’s Witnesses has chosen not to vote, since they think that Jesus would not either, as confirmed by one of its representatives, Robert Hendriks, through an interview in The San Diego Union.
They say that voting does not have any problem, but voting for a political candidate or political issue would be a problem. He also noted that Jehovah’s Witnesses do not swear allegiance to a national icon.
55-year-old Hendriks also said that if they elect a political candidate, it would nullify their faith and they would show that they are not following Jesus, as well as opposing their fellow practitioners of their faith.
It’s in the Bible we say it on a daily basis. Lord thy kingdom come , meaning an end to this present man made system, and yet we depend on the present system / government to provide us with assistance.
