Don’t be like them

Many verses and biblical stories urge us to understand that we live in this world but we do not belong to it and we must be very clear about that idea, because it is not to hide that this world as the years go by becomes more and more hating of the right things and the things of God.

And there is a lethal weapon that we must be careful with, and that is “inclusion”, why should we be careful? Because sometimes we can be looking so much like the world, that then they treat us as if we are part of them and that can lead us to an environment where instead of them being like us we end up being like the world.

The apostle Paul wrote:

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 12:2 (KJV)

Dear reader, what Paul is telling you is that the comforts of this world do not make you feel like in a comfort zone, but understand that in the midst of so much entertainment and acceptance of depraved things, we have to transform our thinking, but not under what the world says, but under the mighty Word of God.

Let’s not be like them, let’s be like God wants us to be, and we find that in His Holy Word, in which we can understand God’s will, which is pleasant and perfect.
