Bad times should not worry us, when things go wrong, it is better that we worry that Christ comes and that our lives are safe on His way. So it is good that day by day we can trust the Lord.
Let us give thanks for each new day because each day the coming of the Lord is closer. Many are alarmed when they hear about rumors of wars, natural disasters, growth in violence, etc., but the Bible talks about this:
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Matthew 24:6-8 (KJV)
Jesus speaks of these signs and tells us that this will only be the beginning of even greater pain. Without a doubt, Jesus warns us that we must be prepared, but above all trusting in Him, keeping His word.
The coming of Christ is getting closer. Let’s be ready for when that big day comes.
