Psalm 29 is a powerful song that does nothing but pay praise to the Lord. This is a Psalm of David, which describes the force of a storm and the voice and power of God in action.
9 The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
10 The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.
11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.
Psalm 29:9-11 (KJV)
David knew that thunder and all nature was an expression of the power of God and that is why he could say in Psalm 19: “The heavens tell the glory of God, And the firmament announces the work of his hands”.
