Thanksgiving to God is part of being a person who is totally grateful for the powerful works that God has done in your life. God is just and practices justice.
His justice is good, there is no one like our just and true God, His justice is forever as He is eternal, oh! how great and powerful our God is.
Our God stands behind us when we need His righteousness, in the Bible there are several examples of how God’s righteousness worked with His children. In the same way His justice is always with us.
1 I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
3 When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
Psalm 9:1-3 (KJV)
In the first verse the psalmist David expresses how he will praise God and speak of His mighty deeds. “I will sing of your wonders”. This is nothing more than a thanksgiving through his adorations to God, giving all that he is in adoration before God.
In the second verse again he says that he will sing to the Most High. The songs that the psalmist David dedicated to God were pure and with all his heart. This man gave himself to God because he knew that everything he needed was found in the Lord.
In the third verse, he tells what happened to those who sought evil for him. Only God is the one who has our justice in His hands, only in Him should you trust with all your heart, give your best towards God and recognize Him in everything.
