Being chosen by God is more than a blessing, and on the other hand it is a blessing to work in His mighty work, we are more than blessed by our Lord.
When we are chosen by our God to carry out a mission, we must fulfill and do everything that our Lord commands us, because if He commands, He will support us. Let us go and fulfill what God commanded.
8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Here in this chapter we can see what God says to the people of Israel, people taken out and delivered from many peoples who wanted to destroy them, but God was always present to deliver them. God says to Israel town “mine you are, I chose you, descendants of my friend Abraham”.
The Lord was reminding the people of the places from where He took them, this was God keeping His promises. Everything that God does is done perfectly, the people of Israel saw everything that God had promised them, this people in many things forgot about God, but God above all forgave them, helped them and strengthened their lives. Let us thank God because being chosen by Him is more than a blessing.
