Do you feel shaken by the enemy? Do you think that enemy is stronger than you? The Bible tells us of a spiritual armor in the letter to the Ephesians, with which we can resist the enemy.
The Bible says:
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Ephesians 6:14-16 (KJV)
The Bible also tells us to “resist” the devil and he will flee from us. How can we resist the enemy? In this text we find light for that question, it tells us “having your loins girt about with truth”, and Christ is that truth, implying that without Christ we cannot win this battle.
And what about faith? The Bible itself teaches us that without faith it is impossible to please God. Therefore, we must have that burning faith in the Lord regardless of the circumstance.
Even see the emphasis on faith with the words “above all,” since having faith is indisputably important in the life of a believer. We can have trials, but never be defeated if we have that faith in the Lord.
I urge you to cover yourself with the armor of God, and in this way God will give you victory in your battles.
