God has truly loved us as no one loves us in this world. I hear many people say that there is no love like that of a mother, but the truth is that there is no love like that of God, who offered His only Son to give us salvation and free us from His wrath.
The only reason we are here is because Christ gave his precious blood for us on Calvary’s cross.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
The main thing here is that Christ died for us, even us being terrible sinners. In other words, we even deserved that someone so sublime and holy give His life for us. We were guilty, worthy of the worst punishment, but God loved us with eternal love and gave His Son for us.
That’s right, we have been reconciled through His death, and through that death we have life, and we are no longer enemies of God, we are no longer separated from Him, and that death justifies us, saves us and redeems us. Therefore, let us continue to give glory and honor to God and always understand the intensity of His sacrifice and that each morning we understand the value that Christ died for our sins.
