The apostle Paul was without a doubt a great man of God and he had a tremendous concern for all the churches of Christ Jesus and that makes him someone whom the leaders of the body of Christ should imitate and ask God to help them worry in the same way or even higher by the church.
The Bible tells us many times about wisdom and more in the book of Proverbs, but specifically the wisdom of heaven is the one that the apostle Paul in the following verses asks God to give to his people:
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Paul had heard of how in Ephesus there was faith in Jesus, but Paul also knew that beyond faith it was necessary for them to have that spirit of wisdom and revelation about our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ should be that knowledge that would fill the minds of each one of those present, in the same way that today we must pray for God to pour out that wisdom and knowledge of Christ on each one of the people who make up the body of Christ.
May the Lord give us that spirit of wisdom and guide us to the full knowledge of our beloved Savior.
