The Bible repeatedly tells us that we must have the same feeling as God’s people, which is the feeling of Christ Himself. Well, we know that a divided kingdom cannot remain, in the same way the divided body of Christ cannot remain either.
The apostle Paul said to the Romans:
4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Everything found in the Bible is useful to us, it can teach us, get us back on track, teach us what we should change, how we should proceed, etc., and throughout the Bible we can have full trust in God.
In verse 5 Paul leans a prayer asking that the God of patience give the same feeling according to Christ Jesus. Dear reader, do you remember how the early church was united in one mind? That made them prosper and be a model church for us, and the truth is that we must pursue that, not look at our own interests, but have the mind of Christ and be a united church.
We must be armed with the same feeling, which is to exalt, worship the name of God all together, because that is why we have been created and called.
