The love that is given by our beloved Lord Jesus Christ helps us to overcome all our fear, gives us encouragement and that above all helps us to remain in Him.
This is an immense love that descends from the Father and is irreplaceable. God is the only one who can give this love, infinite love and that abides in us.
In the Bible we find several authors who speak about the love of God, a love that transformed the life they led. We can mention the example of the apostle Paul, who was persecuting the church of Christ, but when he had an encounter with the Lord, his life changed: The love of God came and transformed him in such a way that instead of persecuting the church of Christ, he began to preach the good news of salvation wherever he went regardless of the cost of his life.
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1 John 3:1
That God calls us children is a very great privilege. And we are called His children because He gave us that great love. In the previous verse we can learn that the world does not know us because the world has not known the Father. These people will never recognize God.
The love of the Father our Lord is great and wonderful, because He gave Himself for love and mercy and for each one of us. He was whipped to a great extent and hung on a tree so that we may be forgiven and may know and abide in His eternal love.
