Many comment, even claim that there is no God, and there are others who believe in other gods who do nothing, because there are no signs of them.
All those who say such things have no way of proving it, nor can they speak of God because they do not know Him. God is more real than you imagine and the good thing is that God who cares for you and guards you while the other gods that do not move, because they have no breath of life.
The Bible tells of those gods made of paper, plaster, and other man-made materials that have been blinded by the enemy to make them believe that those gods are alive. Let’s see.
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Joshua 24:15
The people of Israel sometimes behaved in a rebellious way and that is why Joshua told them that even if the people served other gods, he and his family would serve God.
Joshua was clear that there was only one God, and he could testify to all what God had done in the course of his journey. Do not trust idols, they cannot do anything, but God who is above all things, is great and merciful and He is the one who can help you. Just worship Him.
