We must never say “no” to God’s purpose in our lives, if we are of the Lord, then we must obey in all that He wants to do with us. Denying God’s purpose is not right, remember that God is sovereign.
When we do not do what God commands us, we are being disobedient before God, this does not please God.
We can give an example of one of the greatest stories and it was when God called Moses, whose name means “Rescued from the waters”.
Moses was called to fulfill God’s purpose to get His people out of the slavery of Egypt, but do you think Moses would find a way to escape from that mission or purpose of God with that people? Well, no, since that people needed God’s help, and their only hope was in God. That is why we do should refuse the purpose of God.
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
Psalm 143:10
Like this man, before stopping doing the will of God, better, “Lord teach me to do your will”, that is, David did not stop God’s purpose, but obeyed Him in everything. Let us not be afraid to accept God’s purpose, but rather ask God to give us strength to fulfill what God has entrusted to us. God is good.
Let’s be obedient to God. If God chose us, let’s not refuse His enormous will. God is with us.
