My body and spirit may faint, but God strengthens my heart

There are moments that come to our lives of surprise, that is why we must stand firm and straight before the presence of God.

When we are prepared, firm and praying before the Lord, we will be more than secure, since we will have the Lord to keep us and sustain us in those bad times. Although our body and our spirit faint, God will be with us.

We have the Word of our Lord before us who are the ones who instruct us and speak to us clearly about all the things that can come into our lives, and that is why they send us to be prepared and praying to God to guide us and give us Strength in all our way.

So let’s see what the book of Psalms tells us:

1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

Psalm 121:1-2

Obviously these words are spoken by a man who battled a lot and was chosen since he was little. He was anointed by God to lead a people, in addition this man spent a lot to get to take the position he had as king.

We can clearly see the powerful and encouraging words of David, author of this psalm. This man humbled himself before God, poured out his heart and prayed to God with sincerity. God’s help to this man came soon, it didn’t take long, it is good that, like David, we are sincere with God, that not only when we need His help, we will speak to Him sincerely, but we will always give Him glory and honor Him all the time.

Remember that our help comes from Him who created the heavens and the earth, the sea and everything that dwells in it.
