While you are alive and have God, your hope remains in Him, your life is safe only in God, He is the one who helps you and sustains you, you should not be worried. Nor are you helpless, The Lord is with you as a powerful giant.
This truth should bring deep peace to our hearts. As long as God is with us, our lives are not left to chance or uncertainty. Many people live in constant anxiety because they place their hope in fragile things that can fail at any moment, but the believer finds security in God, who never changes and never abandons His children.
When we understand that our life is safe in God, fear begins to lose its power. Circumstances may shake us, problems may arise unexpectedly, and difficult seasons may come, but none of these things can separate us from the care and protection of the Lord. He sustains us even when our strength fails and carries us when we feel unable to move forward.
We must fully trust in the Lord, since our hope comes from Him, we live for Him, because nothing can be done without Him. If our path becomes difficult, God opens the way for us and gives us hope. Let us praise the Lord because He is our hope.
To trust fully in God is not only to believe that He exists, but to rest in His sovereignty and wisdom. Many times we do not understand why certain situations happen, but faith teaches us that God is in control even when everything seems confusing. When doors close and the road seems blocked, God prepares new paths and shows us that He is still working for our good.
Praising God in the midst of trials is a powerful act of faith. Praise reminds us who God is and who we are in Him. It lifts our eyes from the problem and places them on the One who has the solution. Even in moments of silence or waiting, our praise becomes a declaration of trust and hope.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
Psalm 42:11
The previous verse makes us see the hope we have in our God, that when our soul feels dejected and troubled, we have hope and salvation in our God whom we should praise. When we are thirsty we go to Him, to be satisfied by our heavenly father from whom comes our help and our hope.
This psalm reflects the reality of many believers. There are moments when the soul feels overwhelmed, discouraged, and restless. However, instead of surrendering to despair, the psalmist speaks to his own soul and reminds it where true hope is found. This teaches us that faith is sometimes a decision to trust God even when emotions tell us otherwise.
God is described as the health of our countenance, the One who restores our joy and renews our strength. When sadness marks our face and burdens weigh on our hearts, God brings healing and lifts our spirit. He does not ignore our pain, but He meets us in it and transforms it into renewed hope.
Do not let your heart be troubled, do not let fear come to your life, be wise and believe in the Lord, who is and will be your life hope. Don’t stop praising Him because He is with you.
Fear often appears when we forget who walks with us. Wisdom teaches us to remember that God is not distant; He is present in every step of our journey. Even when answers do not come immediately, His presence sustains us and gives us the strength to continue.
As long as we live and have God, our hope remains firm. Our future is not defined by circumstances, but by the faithfulness of the Lord. Let us continue trusting, praising, and waiting on Him, knowing that our hope in God will never disappoint.
