God forgives you and continues to love you despite all your mistakes. It is an immense love that cannot be shown by anyone else.
Our God is powerful and pities us. We do not doubt that His love for us is great, but so great that He gave His life on the cross no matter that we did not deserve it.
The same Word of our Lord speaks of how wonderful His mercy is, which is renewed day by day in our lives.
That is why we thank the Lord because He has been very good, and because He chose us to be saved. So let’s not neglect such a great salvation given by God.
If we commit a fault before God, let us go before Him and repent with all our heart, let us love God for His great goodness.
1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
Psalm 51:1-2
The psalmist David, committed sin before God and asked God to have compassion and mercy, this man was repentant and that is why he makes this plea before God, but he did it because he knew that God is great in mercy.
We too, before God, can go humbled and ask Him to cleanse and keep us, to restore us and our rebellions to be erased. Let us be humble of the heart, let us go to the presence of God, for He will cleanse us and restore our lives completely.
