A sacrifice with love for God

At the time of doing something for the glory of God, we must do it well and with love, being grateful, without regretting that we have not received or will receive. The point is that everything we do be with love and sacrifice. Serving God is not a transaction; it is an act of gratitude. When we offer anything to the Lord—our time, our worship, our resources—we should do it with a willing heart, not forced or complaining. True service is born from a heart that recognizes the greatness of God and the depth of His mercy toward us.

Our Lord Jesus deserves the best of us, we should not give Him the worst, we should give Him excellence in everything, because it is in this way that God will receive our sacrifice. Excellence in worship is not about musical perfection or eloquent words; it is about sincerity. When our heart, soul, and strength are invested in honoring God, that offering becomes fragrant worship before His throne. Christ gave everything for us, even His own life; the least we can do is offer Him the best in return.

4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.

5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

Psalm 68:4-5

Why not praise His name and bless Him for all that He does for us, for His goodness and mercy that day after day sustain us? Every sunrise is a testimony of His faithfulness, every breath we take is a reminder of His sustaining power. God not only saves us; He keeps us, lifts us up, provides, restores, and loves us with an everlasting love. This alone is enough reason to give Him our best worship.

There are reasons to be grateful, to give the best to the Lord. He loved us since before the creation of the world. He chose us, called us, forgave us, and adopted us as His children. None of us deserved His grace, yet He poured it abundantly over our lives. Everything we are today is because of Him, because of His holy mercy. Gratitude should be the engine of our worship and our service.

Let us serve God from the heart, giving real praises, singing psalms to His name, announcing His power and majesty for all eternity. Worship was never meant to be a routine; it is a proclamation of who God is. When we praise, we declare His sovereignty. When we sing, we exalt His holiness. When we surrender, we acknowledge His lordship. All creation praises Him—birds, seas, mountains—how much more should we, who have tasted His salvation?

There is no one like Him, only He is worthy of being exalted above all. Only His name is big, strong and powerful. No one can compare to the glory of the Almighty. Kings rise and fall, kingdoms flourish and fade, but His throne remains forever. His name is above every name, His reign is eternal, and His power is unshakeable. That is why worship is not optional for the believer; it is a joyful response to the greatness of our God.

That is why we must surrender as many in ancient times were obedient, they fulfilled their call with love. The prophets, the apostles, the men and women of faith—all of them gave their best. They served with passion, sacrificed with joy, and trusted God even in adversity. Their example teaches us that serving God is a privilege, not a burden.

Give your best to God, worship Him in spirit and in truth, so that when you sing to Him, that worship be of quality. Quality worship is not about talent—it is about authenticity. God sees the heart, and He delights in the sincere offering of His children.

If God can give us the best, even when we are asking desperately He answers us, why then do we not do it with Him, being pleasant and prostrating ourselves before Him? Recognizing that He is a magnificent God. He never withholds His goodness; let us therefore never withhold our worship. Let everything we do be for His glory. Amen.

The only thing that can take away the veil
Let us praise God above all
