If we are under the powerful presence of God, we will never be defeated because God walks with us, so we fear nothing.
We have an example of a man who walked under the Presence of God, God was always where this man was, helped him, gave him wisdom, and helped him defeat his adversaries.
The powerful Presence of God was so special in the life of that man, that God himself spoke with him, even quickly showed himself through a reflection to this man, also showed him countless feats and helped him lead a people large in number.
That is why we must thank God, because He walks with us every day, His grace and His power take us by the hands.
And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
Exodus 33:14
God knew the heart of this man and that he did not want to go without His presence, this man did not want to walk without the presence of God. But God said to him: My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. How good it is when the Father tells us these words!
Without God’s presence we cannot go anywhere, because with God’s divine presence we will feel safe, we can walk everywhere without fear of anything, but if that wonderful presence is not with us, then we will be worried and have no rest.
That is why it is good that we ask each day that His presence go with us, not leave us alone because with it we will feel safe.
The presence of God has always been the greatest assurance for His people. From the beginning, those who trusted in Him understood that victory did not depend on numbers, strength, or human strategy, but on walking under His divine guidance. When God is present, fear loses its power and uncertainty no longer controls the heart.
Moses clearly understood this truth. He knew that without God’s presence, the journey would be empty and dangerous. That is why he insisted on hearing God’s promise. For Moses, rest did not mean comfort or ease, but the peace of knowing that God Himself was leading every step. This rest was the result of complete trust in the Lord.
In our daily lives, we often face situations that overwhelm us. Responsibilities, decisions, and trials can cause anxiety and discouragement. However, when we remember that God walks with us, our perspective changes. His presence reminds us that we are not alone, and that He is actively involved in every detail of our lives.
God’s presence brings wisdom when we do not know which direction to take. It strengthens us when our strength is gone and comforts us when our hearts are heavy. Many times, the solution does not come immediately, but His presence sustains us while we wait, giving us patience and hope.
True rest comes from surrendering our worries to God. When we trust Him fully, our hearts find peace even in the midst of difficulties. This rest is not the absence of struggles, but the confidence that God is in control and will never abandon His children.
For this reason, it is essential to seek God’s presence daily. Prayer, obedience, and a sincere heart keep us close to Him. When we cultivate a relationship with God, we become more sensitive to His voice and more aware of His guidance.
Walking with God also requires humility. We must acknowledge that without Him we can do nothing. When we depend on His presence, we learn to trust Him completely and to walk by faith rather than by sight.
Let us never move forward without God. His presence is our refuge, our strength, and our peace. When He walks with us, we can face any challenge without fear, knowing that He will give us rest, direction, and victory in every season of life.
