How can we achieve God’s favor? The best way is by being obedient to His commands, because if we are disobedient and do not do His will, then we will be far from being able to get His favor.
Do not think that this will be like an exchange, you give me your favor and I will do the same, no. God acts as He wants and when He wants, for God to do something or give you something, it does not have to be through an exchange.
Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.
Proverbs 12:1
Before all adversities we can not be ignorant, when we are in trouble, we can not act without wisdom, but be wise to solve the problem, so we must obey the instruction He gives us, because if we obey we are acting with wisdom.
When we are corrected for something we are doing wrong, because this is for our own good, since correction is the best way so that we do not go wrong in what we are going to do. Sometimes they correct us, but we do not accept it, but we do as we want and this is the biggest mistake a human being makes. The best thing is that we are not wise in our own opinion.
A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.
Proverbs 12:2
A man who accepts correction is prudent, because he knows that if he acts in his own opinion he will not get anything, but he will lose God’s favor in his life, and this is because he was not obedient.
Many say they can not get God’s favor in their life, but in what way will you get it? if you are not being straight in the ways, you are not obedient, but your thoughts are only to do evil in the eyes of God. But God who does evil will punish him, but he who has good thoughts will have His favor.
A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.
Proverbs 12:3
A person who is not firm in the ways of the Almighty God, who is always practicing ungodliness, will be led by the current of evil, but he who practices justice, his roots will never move because they have been able to have the favor and mercy of God day after day.
