Persevere in prayer

The word perseverance in the Bible can be found many times, and is that this Christian life is about persevere no matter what we have to risk, since being Christians makes us deny many things and as for prayer, this is a legacy has been given to us and we can not neglect it, although we know that it has been difficult for any Christian to maintain perseverance in prayer, but that should not discourage us, but we should every day regain strength and make our best effort.

The apostle Paul wrote:

2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

Colossians 4:2-3

The apostle uses the imperative “continue”, that is, it is not something that we can negotiate, it is something we must do, not only try it, but beyond that, we must be persevere in prayer and understand that prayer goes much further to ask for things from God, but we must give thanks to God for everything, for the good He has been for us.

Is it hard to pray? The more we get involved with spiritual things like reading the Bible, gathering, praying, fasting, etc., the more our spiritual appetite opens up, and we must run for it and be perseverant. With God we can achieve it.
