Keep your heart

We must consider something very important and is that, our hearts should be placed in the hands of the Lord, asking Him to help us endure, to be faithful, to walk in integrity and respect His statutes.

If every day we keep the words of God in our hearts, we would be well of not to fall into such infractions which are not pleasing to God, because a man outside the ways of God is lost.

The man who leaves the ways of God wanders aimlessly and without direction, the enemy does with him whatever he wants, he makes him steal, kill, destroy, and sin in other ways.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Proverbs 4:23

He who keeps his heart from evil and keeps the word of God in his heart, he gets rid of practicing evil, because when your heart is out to do good, satan comes and takes possession, he attacks and seeks the form of how to use you, and when you see that you do not give for more, he destroys you.

Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

Proverbs 4:24

The proverbist knew why he said these verses, because in all times there have been all kinds of people, which out of their mouths and their hearts come out perverse words. That is why he advises us to remove from us all the words of perversity, and all that is called lies and iniquity, because God does not like these things.

Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

Proverbs 4:25

And who is right? This is God, who gives us light in the midst of darkness, shows us His paths, His ways are straight, and He shepherds His sheep so that they do not go astray. Let us trust in Him and keep His words within our hearts, so that the enemy has no opportunity to harm us, or to take us out of God’s right ways.
