Not by might, nor by power

I have always said that studying the Bible is a very important part of the spiritual life of the believer, because through the study of the Scriptures we can strengthen our faith, reading those great victories that God gave to his people in moments that had all the to lose and in the same way happens with us, we go through a very deep crisis, we cry, we complain, we isolate ourselves from everyone and we even question God, but then we realize that everything happened and that it was just a moment to God closer to Him.

The Bible say:

5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

Zachariah 4:5-6

These verses should make our soul happy and understand where our victory comes from, and that is that our victory to get out of certain crises is not in our strength but in the sovereign power of God.

The people of Israel experienced this several times, seeing the mighty hand of God ridding them of their enemies. Do you think God would not do the same for you or me? God is still God and as he was a helper and protector of his people, he continues to be today. So, put your burden on God, hide under His wings and wait on Him.
