Bible verses that tell us about the importance of faith

Faith is a vital part of the church of Jesus Christ and I cannot imagine a Christian without faith, since it is something we all must possess because we cannot see God and therefore we must have faith that He is real, as real as the The Bible itself details it. So, here are some Bible verses that tell us about how important faith is:

1- We walk by faith, not by sight

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1

As we said at the beginning of the article if we are Christians we must believe, and this leads to believing in someone we have not seen, but who have the faith that it is as real as the Bible tells us.

We have conviction in God, but a conviction that is accompanied by experiences, to see how God answers our prayers, to see how He is real in our daily lives.

2- He who asks receives

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

James 1:6

The truth is that we must ask under the will of God. We must know what His will is for us and asking on that basis He answers us, and we must not doubt it, we must believe with all our heart that our God is powerful not only to listen to us but also to materialize what we are asking for.

3- Without faith it is impossible to please God

And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Hebrews 1:6

Faith is like the heart of the church, then, look carefully as the author of the Hebrews says: “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” That is, faith is obligatory for every believer. If we seek God, we have to do it knowing that He exists, that He is real, that He listens to us and at the same time answers our prayers.

Let us have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, and understand what faith means to the people of God. Do you feel lack of faith at some times? Go before the Lord and express what happened and ask Him to help you.
