The gospel is the power of God

The teaching of the apostle Paul in telling us that the gospel is the power of God unfolds a high gamut of seasons when we understand the life of the apostle. Do not believe that Paul wrote from the comfort of an office, for the most part, the apostle wrote from a prison and even under all these difficulties he kept believing that the gospel is God’s power, and through this article we invite you to that you believe the same, but not in a superfluous way, but in the way Paul meant it.
Do you remember who was Paul before becoming an apostle? Paul was called Saul, and he was the greatest persecutor of the church in his time, so that he carried many brothers to death, besides this, this man was a Pharisee, instructed at the feet of Gamaliel, that is, Paul was a high connoisseur of the law, perhaps with many titles for his majesty, however, then had to leave all that behind, fame, titles, his great reputation, none of this served anymore and now he was saying:

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”.

Romans 1:16-17

Do you think it was easy in Paul’s time to say, “But the just shall live by faith”? But already the apostle cared little what could happen, since he had his life in little compared to the work that had been entrusted to him.

Dear brothers, Paul recognized very well that the power was not in his lexicon or in his palaver, he knew that the power was found in the Gospel: Life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Do you also think that in the gospel that power is found? Well, let’s go forward and not be ashamed of Him.
