God is powerful to give us more than we ask

God loves us, this is an absolute truth that we must understand, practically something basic in Christianity is knowing that God loves us, that He loved us so much, to the point of giving His only Son on the cross of Calvary to free us from sin and from hell. No one has had greater love for us than God Himself and nobody takes more care of us than God Himself. So, if you have ever thought that God does not love you, you should change your mind and understand the great love with which God has loved us.

The apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians about that love that exceeds all knowledge, which is the love of God:

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21

Regardless of whether we go through trials, difficulties, hunger, pain, that we are going through problems so strong that we do not know what to do with our lives. Regardless of all that, when we pray, when we cry out to the Lord, we must do so with faith and knowing that God loves us, and that at the same time He is so powerful that He can give us much more abundantly than we ask or understand.

Beloved brothers, let us not lose heart, let us raise our hands and bend our paralyzed knees, and give glory to Jesus Christ for that unbreakable love with whom He has loved us.

In the epistle of Paul to the Ephesians, chapter 3, he says that he bows his knees to the Father of Jesus in prayer, so that those brothers may know the love of Christ which passes knowledge.

To know the Love of Christ is something impossible for us, that have the seed of sin in us: we are inclined to do evil and to hate more than to love. As the apostle Paul writes: that in him, in his flesh, dwells no good thing, and he does not find how to perform that which is good (Romans 7:18).

Love is of God, it is a capacity that God puts in those who are born of Him; and they are called to love one another. If we love brothers, we Know God
    (1 John 4:7).

So we need the power of God to act in us in order to know the love of Jesus Christ. He can do it more abundantly that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

To know the love that Jesus feels to us will make our love to Him increase. This will bless our lives.

May the Lord God work in us to love our Lord Jesus Christ more abundantly than we can currently do it.
