There is only one who can bring us salvation, and it is Jesus, the One who died for us on the cross of Calvary, who offers us life and life in abundance. This precious gift, however, is sadly rejected by many. The world offers temporary solutions, fleeting comforts, and deceptive promises, but only Christ provides true freedom, eternal hope, and forgiveness of sins.
Every day we must keep in mind that without God we will always walk in darkness. No matter how much human wisdom, effort, or strength we try to depend on, nothing can illuminate the soul except the light that comes from God. But when we make the decision to leave everything that is outside of His will and turn wholeheartedly to the Lord, the darkness begins to fade. What once confused us, enslaved us, or burdened us loses its power because the true light—Christ Himself—shines upon us.
Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
John 12:44
Jesus, speaking to the crowd, raised His voice so that no one would miss the message. He declared that believing in Him was not merely believing in a prophet or a teacher, but believing in the One who sent Him—the Father. Jesus was emphasizing the unity between Him and the Father, revealing that faith in Christ is ultimately faith in God Himself.
This means that every step we take toward Jesus is a step toward the heart of the Father. Every time we trust Jesus, we are embracing the will, the love, and the plan of God. That is why we should continually place our trust in the Lord, especially when we have turned away from darkness. The moment we walk in the light of Christ, our path becomes clearer, our burdens lighter, and our heart more secure, because the Light Himself walks with us.
And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.
John 12:45
With these words Jesus wanted the crowd to understand something profound: the Father was with Him, working through Him, revealing Himself through His life, His words, and His miracles. Every healing, every act of compassion, every sermon filled with authority was a visible manifestation of the invisible God. Jesus was not acting independently; He was the exact representation of the Father, the living image of His glory.
To see Jesus was to see the Father’s heart. To hear Jesus was to hear the Father’s voice. To approach Jesus was to approach God Himself. This truth remains unchanged today. Whoever draws near to Christ is drawing near to God, and whoever rejects Christ is rejecting the only Savior the Father has provided.
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
John 12:46
Jesus came as a radiant light into a world trapped in spiritual blindness. Many walk through life surrounded by confusion, fear, guilt, addictions, and inner wounds, believing there is no way out. But the purpose of Christ’s coming was precisely this: to bring freedom to the captives, hope to the hopeless, sight to the spiritually blind, and forgiveness to those crushed by sin.
The Father sent His Son to heal the brokenhearted, to lift up those who have fallen, to feed the hungry in soul and body, to clothe those exposed by shame, and to offer rest to those who are weary. Most importantly, He came to rescue humanity from darkness and lead us into His marvelous light. Every person who believes in Jesus receives this light—not temporarily, not partially, but fully and permanently.
Dear friends, we must remember daily that the light of Christ is not a distant promise but a present reality. When we believe in Him, when we surrender our life to Him, we no longer walk alone. He guides, He strengthens, He restores, and He transforms. There is no darkness that His light cannot overcome, no chain that His power cannot break, and no heart that His love cannot heal.
Let us cling to Christ, our true light, and allow Him to illuminate every area of our lives.
