My God will be with you

Every day we must believe in the Lord, in that He is with us, and will be until the end of time, keeping each of His children and all those who make the decision to follow Him.

Daily living sometimes brings us trials and difficulties which also make us doubt the Lord, and when doubt comes into our lives, we begin to say, “I do not see God in the middle of this difficulty that I am going through.” But we are wrong because God is always with us at all times. The fact that we cannot see Him acting immediately does not mean He is absent. God is faithful, and His promises stand firm regardless of what our eyes can perceive.

Our walk with God requires faith—a faith that remains steadfast even when circumstances become heavy, a faith that looks beyond what we feel and remembers what God has spoken. Through the Scriptures, God reminds us over and over that He will never leave us nor forsake us. And this truth must anchor our soul every day.

The book of Chronicles makes mention of the Psalmist David speaking to his son:

And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.

1 Chronicles 28:20

Here we see how the Psalmist David gives advice to his son, telling him not to fear because God is with him. This advice was for when Solomon was reigning—to do everything according to the laws, to trust in the Lord, and to walk in His commandments. David, who had experienced many trials in his own life, knew very well that God’s presence was the key to overcoming every challenge.

David was encouraging his son; he was preparing him for the moment he began to reign over the people of Israel. He urged him to strive in the work of the Lord, not to faint, “because God will be with you; He will not forsake you.” What a beautiful and powerful encouragement coming from a father to his son. It is nice to imagine meeting every day a father like David—someone who lifts your spirit and reminds you that God is with you, guiding your steps and strengthening your hands for every task.

These words also teach us the importance of spiritual legacy. David was not only passing the kingdom to Solomon; he was passing faith, conviction, and confidence in God. And this same message is for us today: we must continue our journey with courage, trusting that the God who called us will sustain us until the end.

And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful man, for any manner of service: also the princes and all the people will be wholly at thy commandment.

1 Chronicles 28:21

Let us continue forward in the Lord without fear of anything, because God is with us always; He does not leave us alone. Just as God surrounded Solomon with priests, Levites, willing workers, and leaders to support the work, He also surrounds us with people, opportunities, and resources aligned to His purpose. When God orders something, He also provides everything needed to accomplish it.

Do not forget something important: God is with you as a mighty giant. His presence goes before you, His hand strengthens you, and His love sustains you day by day. Trust in Him and walk with confidence, for He who promised is faithful.

The love that surpasses knowledge
The eternal mercy of the Lord

    ===================
King David, a brave and hardened soldier, fearful of God, had fought and won many battles against enemies of Israel. He knew how the Lord God had helped him in all difficulties, He had never failed him; and so he assured Solomon that his God would be with him until he finished building the temple of Jerusalem.

“And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.”
    1 Chronicles 28:20

We also ought to entrust all our matters to the Lord because he loves us and he is interested in all things we may go through; especially he wants our soul to be saved, which is the most important thing; but he does not forget we are dust and we have a body which needs things to live.

We must be sure the almighty God is our Father and knows we need food and a dress, a place where we shelter, and a family; and we also need to find comfort to our souls until the end of our lives.

Let us be grateful to our Father, who is in heaven, who gives us daily bread and takes care of us.

May we wish His name to be glorified. Amen
