Do you feel unsuccessful on this day? Do you feel that no one loves you and that everyone turns away from you? Well, I have good news for you: “You are loved by God”, do you know what that means? That is the most wonderful thing you can hear, since God does not love us because we deserve it, He loves us because He has decided so and we give glory to our Creator for it, because being we imperfect people He can bear us.
God has never left His people alone and this is demonstrated throughout all history in the Scriptures. Let us remember that Christ being God became man and came to die for us and after He died and resurrected He had to ascend to heaven, even so, He always thought of us, not to leave us alone, and as a reward He promised to send us to the Comforter: ” The Holy Spirit”, to guide us every moment of our lives:
20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.
21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
John 14:20-21

Beloved by my Father
==================
The Lord Jesus Christ joins together the love we may feel towards Him and our keeping his commands. Then it is a good test for us, if we love Jesus, to follow the instructions from the Father: he must be adored in Spirit and in truth; and people we meet in our daily lives and our brothers must be treated with justice and love.
The apostle John tells us this is what the Lord Jesus Christ said:
“Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” John 14:21
If we say we love Jesus, the Lord, and we hate our brother, we lie, because we do not see the Lord but see our brother. The love we feel to our brother shows that love we say we feel for the Lord.
Jesus said about anyone who loves him: if he or she loves him, they will be loved by the Father.
Jesus will love us too and he will show himself to us.
He will show to us. But in what kind of presence will he show to us?
He will show himself maybe as he did to Paul in the way to Damascus, or he will show to us in a spiritual way inside of us (the Lord knows).
But one thing is true, the Lord will fulfil his promise.
If we are able to love our brother, we may love the Lord Jesus Christ too, then the Father will love us also and Jesus will show himself to us.
What do you think about that?
Isn’t it a wonderful thing? I think it is.
Then, we pray…
Oh Lord, grants us, with the power of your Holy Spirit, to have our love to our brothers increased, so that we may get spiritual blessings for our souls. In Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
AMEN. AMEN.
Amen.
