The words of the Lord are life, they are the ones that instruct us, those that help us to understand all things, those words of life when they reach our hearts change us completely.
There are times when we feel that our spirit is without strength and that we do not have someone to tell us “God gives you the strength to continue advancing on the right paths of God”, but it is not so, because the Lord He left that same message in His Word, so that we can seek it and keep it in each one of our hearts.
61 Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you?
62 Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!John 6:61-62
The disciples had moments which they did not believe in the words that Jesus said while walking in the places, they saw the miracles that the Lord was doing before them, and even so they did not believe, but we must say about this, the Lord is life, and because of that His words are life too because those words come from Him.
We only can go and find peace in Him, to Him we go to look for words of encouragement and we will find them, He will not reject us when looking for Him, but He will open His arms to be embraced by Him.
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.
John 6:63
We must believe only the giver of life, He is the one who fills our hearts, let us not believe in the man who has nothing to give us, because man himself is empty and will only offer us his own bitterness. But God will give us the best of the best and that lasts forever, these are words of life, which only He will give us.
When we meditate on these passages, we realize that Jesus was not only teaching His disciples but also preparing them to understand that true life does not come from human reasoning. Many times, just like them, we hear the promises of God and still doubt, forgetting that the One who speaks is the Creator of all things. His voice sustains the universe, and if this is so, how much more can His words sustain our fragile hearts in the moments when discouragement knocks at our door.
There are seasons in which we feel spiritually dry, where prayer becomes difficult and reading the Bible feels heavy. Yet it is precisely in those seasons when His words act as living water, restoring the soul, refreshing the spirit, and giving us new strength. When we approach Scripture with an open heart, God Himself meets us there and gently reminds us that He has never abandoned us. His words come to correct us, heal us, guide us, and remind us of His eternal love.
This is why it is so important to maintain a constant relationship with the Word of God. Just as our physical bodies cannot live without food, our spirits cannot survive without the nourishment that comes from heaven. Every verse we read, even those we think we already know, has the power to bring light in moments of confusion and to show us the path when everything seems uncertain. The Bible is not simply a book; it is the living voice of God speaking to humanity.
When Jesus declared that His words are Spirit and life, He was revealing a profound truth: His teachings are not temporary advice or philosophical reflections; they are eternal truths that transform those who receive them. This is why the enemy fights so hard to keep us away from Scripture, distracting us with worries, fears, and the noise of this world. He knows that once the Word enters the heart of a believer, nothing can remain the same.
Let us approach the Word of God every day with reverence and expectation, understanding that each time we open the Scriptures, heaven itself is speaking to us. Let us allow His voice to shape our thoughts, strengthen our faith, and remind us that even when we feel weak, His words remain powerful, faithful, and full of life. In them we find hope, direction, peace, and the assurance that God is always working in our favor.

Words that are life
===============
Beautiful words of life are the words of Christ Jesus. They light up my soul, they give me hope of eternal life.
“The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.”
John 6:63
It is the Spirit of God who gives life to us through the words of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Father who is in heaven has given us his beloved Son to be saved by Him and has revealed his words to babes, humble people in spirit. “Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in your sight.” (Matthew 11:26)
The power of God acts by his Spirit. Men and women (the flesh) are only like potter’s vessels which are used by the Lord to do His Will. So they are messengers who bring the words of life to be taught to those who have ears to hear.
These are the words of God: that people believe in his Son Jesus Christ so that they have life, everlasting life.
Thanks to you, oh Father in Heaven. Amen.
