The works and the word of God

From the beginning of Psalm 19 the Psalmist begins to count the works and wonders of God, the Creator of everything, who holds everything on His hands, even nature announces His wonders, from the smallest to the greatest.

The firmament announces the glory and might of God. David was always exalting God above all by recognizing everything created by His hands. With His words He ordered things to be created.

But who can discern their own errors?
Forgive my hidden faults.

Psalm 19:12

The supplications of the Psalmist David start from the exaltation he made to the Lord, he asked the Lord to free him from his hidden errors. It is good to say these words as this man expressed himself, about his errors before God “Deliver me from those who are hidden”. But can we say the same thing that David said in this verse?

It is good that every day we can recognize our mistakes and put them before God, because in doing this, God sees us as humble people and that we really want to continue in His ways.

Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.

Psalm 19:13

We will always have around us things that want to attack us to deviate from the perfect ways of God. That is why this man always asked the Lord to keep him from the evil thoughts that came to him and from the rebellions that could be manifested. But before these statements David felt that he could be whole before God.

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Psalm 19:14

We must be careful when we express ourselves about God, because if our heart is in darkness, we will talk about things that are not pleasing before God, and that is why this man looked for a way that what he said would be good things and not vain words.

That is why we must ask the Lord to keep our hearts from evil, that at the moment of speaking we speak words of wisdom, that our meditation be clean. Do not doubt that God will be with you and will walk with you all the days of your life.
