Trust in God is the most important, because in Him we will be more than secure, only in Him we can deposit everything we have, because everything we have managed to obtain is thanks to God.
It is good to remember every day that He is our refuge, the Lord knows all things that are within us, there are times when we need Him, because when those difficulties come we seek Him and we find Him.
In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
Psalm 11:1
How good it is when we read the book of Psalms and we find these beautiful words spoken by the psalmist David. This man could be passing any persecution but despite the difficulties he had to face, the psalmist gave an order to his soul to glorify the name of God.
As the Apostle Peter said: “To whom shall I go, Lord, but you? Because only you have words of eternal life”. This expression makes it clear that only God can give us a word of encouragement and that in Him we can take refuge.
The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Psalm 11:5
The greatest refuge of each human being is in the Lord, only in Him we can trust, because He testifies to His saints, but whoever loves to do evil will not do well in His way.
For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
Psalm 11:7
We have to be very aware that God does not miss anything. He has control of all things, He is righteous, loves justice and protects those who walk under His righteousness. Let’s not forget that God is our refuge and that we can trust only in Him.
