The love of God is infinite and lasts forever. It is the love that transforms us, frees us, purifies our hearts, and leads us to seek the Lord with sincerity. As Scripture reminds us in God loves those who love Him, those who seek Him early will find Him.
Every day we must look for that real love, because there is only One who can give it to us in its purest and most perfect form. Human love can be sincere, beautiful, and meaningful, but it is also limited. It can fail, grow tired, or be affected by emotions, circumstances, distance, disappointment, or weakness. But the love of God never loses its power. It does not change with the seasons, it is not destroyed by our failures, and it is not reduced by our limitations. When we begin to seek the love of God, something deep begins to happen in our lives. Our priorities change, our way of thinking is renewed, and our soul begins to understand that it was created to live in communion with its Creator.
I love those who love me,
And those who seek me diligently will find me.Proverbs 8:17
The love of God transforms the heart
When the Bible speaks about seeking God diligently, it is not describing a cold religious habit or a superficial routine. It is describing a heart that recognizes its need for the Lord and turns to Him with humility. To seek God is to admit that we cannot save ourselves, that we cannot guide our own steps perfectly, and that our deepest satisfaction cannot be found in this world. Many people spend their lives searching for meaning in possessions, relationships, recognition, pleasure, achievements, or social approval. Yet, even after obtaining many of these things, the heart can still remain empty. Why? Because the human soul was not created to be filled by temporary things; it was created to be filled by God.
The love of God transforms us because it reaches places that no human solution can touch. It confronts our sin, heals our wounds, corrects our direction, and teaches us to live differently. A person who truly begins to understand divine love does not remain the same. Pride begins to be broken. Bitterness begins to lose its strength. Fear begins to bow before faith. The desire to live for oneself is replaced by a desire to please the Lord. This is why the love of God is not only comforting; it is also sanctifying. It does not simply tell us that everything is fine. It draws us closer to God so that our lives may be aligned with His will.
If we decide to seek the Lord, we will find Him at the right time. The book of Proverbs gives us this great truth because the Lord loves those who love Him, and those who seek Him diligently will find Him. This does not mean that God is hiding in a cruel or distant way. It means that He calls us to approach Him with sincerity, faith, and reverence. God is not found by a careless heart that only wants blessings without surrender. He is found by those who recognize His worth and come before Him with a genuine desire to know Him.
Do not waste time before seeking the Lord
It is important not to waste time in seeking God, as the writer of Proverbs teaches us. Many people postpone spiritual things as if life were guaranteed. They say, “One day I will pray more,” “One day I will return to God,” “One day I will read His Word,” or “One day I will take my faith seriously.” But tomorrow is not promised to anyone. The body is mortal, life is fragile, and every day that passes is another reminder that we need to draw near to the Lord while we have breath. The most important decision of life should not be left for the last moment.
Let us remember that the day will come when this mortal body will face its end. That is why we should seek a beautiful encounter with our God now. We should ask Him to let His love enter our whole being so that our hearts may be changed. The love of God is not a decoration for religious speech; it is the very foundation of spiritual life. Without His love, faith becomes dry, obedience becomes heavy, and worship becomes empty. But when the heart is filled with His love, obedience becomes a joy, worship becomes sincere, and the Word of God becomes daily nourishment for the soul.
The believer must not seek God only in moments of danger or suffering. It is true that affliction often awakens us and pushes us to pray with greater intensity, but God should not be treated as an emergency option. He is worthy of being sought every day: in peace and in trouble, in abundance and in lack, in joy and in tears. To seek Him early means to place Him first, before our plans, before our anxieties, before our decisions, and before our ambitions. When God is first, everything else finds its proper place.
Faith is necessary to approach God
The person who seeks God must come with faith. The Bible teaches that without faith it is impossible to please Him, because whoever comes to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. This truth is also reflected in A look of faith, where the importance of trusting God is connected with the believer’s daily walk. Faith is not a vague optimism or a simple emotional feeling. Faith is confidence in the character, promises, and power of God.
When we seek God, we must believe that He hears, that He cares, and that He is able to guide us. Many times the heart becomes discouraged because answers do not arrive as quickly as we want. But the love of God teaches us to trust His timing. He is never late, even when we do not understand His process. He knows how to work in silence, how to prepare the heart, how to remove what harms us, and how to give us what truly benefits our soul. A person rooted in the love of God does not measure divine faithfulness only by immediate results. He learns to rest in the certainty that God is good, wise, and sovereign.
Faith also helps us continue seeking God when emotions are weak. There are days when prayer flows easily and the heart feels full of devotion. But there are also days when the soul feels tired, distracted, or dry. In those moments, we must remember that seeking God is not based only on what we feel. It is based on who He is. The love of God is firm even when our emotions are unstable. Therefore, we continue praying, reading His Word, worshiping, and obeying, not because every day feels easy, but because God remains worthy every day.
Riches and honor are with me,
Enduring riches and righteousness.Proverbs 8:18
The riches God gives are eternal
Everything the Lord gives is good. He does not bless us so that we may become proud, careless, or distant from Him. He blesses us according to His wisdom and purpose. The blessings of God do not add sorrow, because what comes from Him carries righteousness, peace, and eternal value. Proverbs 8:18 speaks of riches and honor, but it also speaks of enduring riches and righteousness. This teaches us that the greatest treasures are not merely material. The greatest riches are spiritual riches: salvation, wisdom, peace, holiness, joy, perseverance, and communion with God.
Many people desire blessings but do not desire the God who gives them. They want open doors, success, protection, provision, and peace, but they do not want surrender, repentance, obedience, or holiness. Yet the blessings of God cannot be separated from the character of God. He is not only generous; He is holy. He is not only loving; He is righteous. Therefore, the person who seeks the love of God must also seek the ways of God. To love Him is to desire His will, His instruction, and His truth.
This is why Scripture constantly connects wisdom with obedience. The one who loves God does not treat His commandments as a burden. Instead, he understands that the ways of the Lord are life. The world may promise freedom through rebellion, but that road only leads to slavery. Sin may appear attractive at first, but it leaves the soul wounded and empty. True freedom is found in walking with God, because His love delivers us from the chains that once controlled our desires.
God’s love leads us to walk in His ways
Those who truly love the Lord will also desire to keep His ways. This does not mean that believers become perfect in themselves, but it does mean that their hearts are being shaped by grace. The Christian life is not merely about saying that we love God; it is about learning to live in a way that honors Him. That is why Blessed are those who keep my ways reminds us of the blessing that comes from guarding our steps and turning away from the desires of the world.
The love of God does not encourage a careless life. On the contrary, it teaches us to renounce what harms us and to pursue what pleases the Lord. When a person says, “God loves me,” but uses that truth as an excuse to continue in sin, he has misunderstood divine love. God’s love forgives, but it also transforms. It receives the broken sinner, but it does not leave that sinner in the same condition. His love lifts, cleanses, corrects, disciplines, and restores.
This transformation can be seen in daily decisions. A person touched by the love of God begins to speak differently, forgive differently, serve differently, and think differently. He becomes more aware of his weaknesses and more dependent on grace. He no longer wants to live only for earthly approval. He wants his life to be pleasing before the eyes of the Lord. This is one of the clearest signs that divine love is working in the heart: the soul begins to desire holiness, not as a way to earn salvation, but as a response to the mercy already received.
Seek God in every season of life
There are seasons when life feels like dry ground. Prayer may feel difficult, circumstances may feel heavy, and the future may seem uncertain. But even in dry seasons, God remains faithful. The believer must not abandon the search for God simply because the path becomes difficult. In fact, those difficult moments often become the place where we learn to depend on Him more deeply. As In dry and arid land God deposits His rain expresses, the Lord is able to bring renewal where there seems to be dryness.
When the soul feels weak, we must run to God, not away from Him. When temptation becomes strong, we must seek His strength. When sadness visits the heart, we must remember that His love is greater than our pain. When confusion surrounds us, we must return to His Word. The love of God is not only for bright days; it is also the refuge of the believer in dark days. His love holds us when our strength fails and reminds us that we are not abandoned.
The world offers many distractions to keep people from seeking God. Entertainment, ambition, anxiety, pride, and endless noise can make the soul forget what truly matters. But none of these things can replace the presence of the Lord. A person can have a full schedule and an empty soul. A person can be surrounded by people and still feel deeply alone. A person can own much and still lack peace. This is why we must return again and again to the love of God. Only He can satisfy the deepest thirst of the heart.
The love of God gives purpose and peace
When we understand that God loves us with an everlasting love, we begin to see life differently. Our identity is no longer built on human opinion. Our worth is no longer measured by success, appearance, money, or popularity. We belong to the Lord, and that truth gives stability to the soul. God’s love gives us purpose, because it reminds us that we were created to glorify Him, to walk with Him, and to reflect His grace in the world.
This love also gives peace. Not a superficial peace that depends on perfect circumstances, but a deep peace that remains because God is with us. The believer can face trials knowing that the Lord has not stopped loving him. He can face correction knowing that divine discipline comes from a Father who cares. He can face uncertainty knowing that God sees the entire path. He can face death knowing that the promises of God are stronger than the grave.
Therefore, we must not treat the love of God as a small subject. It is the center of our hope. It is the reason we can repent, believe, obey, endure, forgive, and worship. Without the love of God, we would be lost. But because He loved us first, we can love Him, seek Him, and walk in His ways. His love is the fountain from which true spiritual life flows.
Let us seek Him with all our heart
We believe in God, so let us seek Him. Let us seek His love, His wisdom, His presence, and His righteousness. Let us approach Him early, before our hearts become hardened by sin, before distractions consume our days, and before the opportunities of life pass away. Every morning is an invitation to draw near to Him. Every trial is an opportunity to trust Him. Every blessing is a reason to thank Him. Every breath is a reminder that we still have time to seek the Lord.
Let us not postpone the most important relationship of our existence. Let us ask God to fill us with His love, to purify our desires, to strengthen our faith, and to teach us to walk in His ways. The world may offer temporary pleasures, but only God offers eternal life. The world may offer applause, but only God gives true peace. The world may offer riches that fade, but the Lord gives enduring riches and righteousness.
Seek the Lord while there is time. Love Him with sincerity. Trust Him with your whole heart. Walk in His wisdom. Rest in His promises. The love of God is infinite, powerful, holy, and eternal. Those who seek Him diligently will not be disappointed, because the Lord is faithful to reveal His grace, guide His children, and satisfy the soul that longs for Him.

=========================
I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.
Proverbs 8:17
It is a good thing to find God: this the way to wisdom.
By wisdom we fear the Lord, we begin to look for Him. All creatures need their creator to live, to progress in the knowledge of the Way of salvation. The power of God that acts in wise people who love wisdom, not so in fools that despise instruction.
God loves the World, He sent his beloved Son to us because he loved us. He spared not him but delivered him up for us all.
We all that believe in Him, in Jesus Christ, our saviour, those who love God for he has loved us first.
“We love him, because he first loved us.”. 1 John 4:19
Then we love wisdom, that leads us to know God and his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. We are always speaking about him, for it is though Jesus that we have received all blessings, here on earth and in the hereafter.
May all of us give thanks to the Lord God, the Father, who loved us and gave his only begotten Son for our welfare.
Amen.
