Beating the giant

We all have great difficulties, difficult problems of which we think we will never leave, that we will not win, that the giant that is making us war will destroy us, and this keeps us sad and many times without hope, but, today I can tell you something that will be of consolation.

In the Bible each character had his giant, Moses had Pharaoh, Elijah had Jezebel, David had Goliath, Jesus had the scribes and Pharisees. A giant is not only that person of tall stature, but those enemies who want to destroy us, and each of these characters experienced a great trial, however, God never abandoned them and in their most difficult moments He was with them and I know that of that same form will be with each one of us and we will receive the victory.

In the Bible we find a great story and it is that of David and Goliath. Recall that at that time Goliath rose up against the camp of Israel, this was literally a “giant” character and had all the people of Israel cornered, and they also felt hopeless, they believed that they could not win, that they would never come out of that problem, they believed that the end had come. But something we must understand about God is that He always arrives on time, no matter what you are going through, no matter the size of the problem, God is glorified at the time He finds appropriate and we must believe in it, have the faith and the hope that God will move His powerful hand.

The Bible says:

43 He said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.

44 “Come here,” he said, “and I’ll give your flesh to the birds and the wild animals!”

45 David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

1 Samuel 17: 43-45

In the midst of that people who were afraid of the giant, a brave young man called David arose and uttered those glorious words before the giant, and that is that God is always going to glorify Himself at the right moment and this was the moment of Him glorifying Himself through a young in front of all the people of Israel and the Philistines.

Friends, I do not know what your giant is, your problem or the great difficulty you are going through, but I want to tell you that there is a solution in God, there is hope in God and He never arrives late. The great battles are won in our prayer room, having that faith that everything will turn out well and that tomorrow will only be an experience for which God made us pass to help others.

Remember that we serve the God of the squadrons of Israel, the strong and powerful God who never forsakes His children. My prayer is that God strengthens each reader with the power of His strength.
